INFORMATION LETTER

on the IV Central Asian International Forum on Quality Assurance in Education

The Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) looks forward to welcoming you at the IV Central Asian International Forum on Quality Assurance in Education, which will be held on October 2-3, 2020 in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk (Republic of Kazakhstan) on the basis of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University.

The Annual Forum is aimed at discussing non-standard approaches and sharing best practices in the development of a quality assurance system, accreditation and rating studies, expanding new options for network cooperation with international organizations and agencies that promote the development of a quality culture and promote constructive interaction between representatives of education, the labor market and society in overall, and the results of discussions and debates will have a positive impact on improving the quality potential of education.

The Forum will be attended by representatives of the Ministries of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Moldova, international European networks for quality assurance in higher education, international accreditation bodies, international organizations in the field of education, Kazakhstan and international higher education institutions, stakeholders and student representatives.

The Forum agenda covers Panel Sessions, where it is planned to discuss key issues related to the implementation of strategic initiatives:

1. International Experience in Quality Assurance of Education
2. Architecture of the Education Quality
3. Transformation of the Quality Assurance in Medical Education
4. Accreditation of Educational Programs in the TVE system
5. Integration of Science and Education: New Trends in the Digital Era

Forum working languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.

The program agenda of the Forum will include reports of the plenary meeting and Panel sessions.

Forum media support: IAAR’s scientific information journal “Education. Quality Assurance”, ELSIEVER, information channel Khabar 24, Khabar TV channel, ENQA web page (enqa.eu),  Agency’s official website www.iaar.agency

Participation in the Forum is free. Travel and accommodation costs shall be borne by the Forum participant or the sending organization.

Upon the Forum outcomes certificates of participation and the Forum proceedings will be issued.

Forum papers shall comply with the publication requirements (Appendix 1) and to be submitted by August 01, 2020 to the email: Forum2020@iaar.kz.

Paper publication fee in the Forum proceedings: 10 000 KZT.

Registration of the Forum participants is carried out on-line on the website www.iaar.agency in the section “Events”.
