Students and teachers of the EKSU named after S.S. Amanzholova took participance in the regional drama theater in the opening of the II Republican Theater Festival named after Rustem Yesdauletov.

Among the participants of the festival and an honorary guest of the EKSU named after S.S. Amanzholova - known Kazakhstan journalist, publicist, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chairman of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan Esdaulet Ulugbek Orazbayuly

- I wish the participants good luck, success and wonderful achievements. I believe that according to the results of the festival there will be no losers, since each of you deserves a victory and will certainly win it, making a huge step in his work - said Ulugbek Esdauletov.

“We hope that such a festival in the future will be held at the international level, for this there are all the possibilities and conditions thanks to the excellent organizers” said the director, professor of the Kazakh National University of Arts, State Prize winner Ersain Tapenov.

According to the director of the VK Regional Drama Theater Dinmukhameta Uyabaya, about 20 theaters of the country received applications for participation in the festival. The festival will last until November 13th.

The event within the framework of the implementation of the program “Ruhani zhangyru” and the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the capital of the country - Astana was organized by the Department of Culture, archives and documentation of East Kazakhstan region.
