The management of S. Amanzholov University and active students visited Kokpektinsky district. The purpose of "Amanzholov University Day" is to - organization of career guidance work for students of schools of the district. Teachers and students from more than ten schools participated in the district House of Culture named after Kalikhan Altynbayev. Dildabek Orazbayev, akim of the district, was also present at the event. He wished success to the staff of the university, noting that EKU is one of the best universities in the country.

It should be noted that during the visit solemn awards were held. Thus, Dildabek Orazbayev was awarded a badge named after Abay Kunanbayev for his contribution to the development of the image of East Kazakhstan University named after S. Amanzholov. Employees of the district education department were presented with jubilee medals timed to the 70th anniversary of the university. Parents of students who actively participated in community service, demonstrated high performance, were awarded letters of thanks from the rector Mukhtar Tolegen.

"Amanzholov University Day" did not pass without a good tradition - awarding grants of the educational institution. A four-year educational grant was awarded to Guliam Turyspekova, an 11th grade student of Ulken-Buken secondary school. An identical grant was awarded to an 11th grade student of the secondary school named after J. Shayjunusov. Zh. Shayjunusov Talshyn Ezhankhan. Also Kenzhebek Akhmetkaliev, Gulim Tursyngalieva and Amre Zhanatbekuly became the happy owners of the right to free education.

At the end of the introductory meeting a concert was organized, where students presented dance, vocal and humorous numbers.
