Scientists Sarsen Amanzholov EKU has won 3 of the project in the competition for grant funding for young scientists of scientific and (or) scientific and technical projects for the years 2021-2023 of the Committee of science of MES RK in priority areas.

The competition was won for the projects "Geology, extraction and processing of mineral and hydrocarbon raw materials, new materials, technology, safe products and structures": "Nanocomposite ceramics based on beryllium oxide with high thermal and electrophysical properties for use in the radio-electronic industry" (supervisor-A. B. Kasymov, the amount of funding for the entire period – 53,232,054 tenge); "Development of technology for obtaining ceramic material based on silicon carbide by sintering powders" (supervisor-M. B. Abilev, the amount of funding - 52,148,966 tenge); "National Security and Defense": "Development of a sensitive humidity sensor based on a graphene oxide membrane made of activated carbon for military needs" (scientific supervisor-T. K. Kuanyshbekov, funding amount - 48,000,000 tenge).
