Three-day guest lectures by Konstantin Grigorichev, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Vice-Rector for Research and International Activities of Irkutsk State University, were held in EKU named after S. Amanzholov. The aim was to generate interest in research activities and increase competitiveness in the labor market.
The lectures were devoted to the results of the actual interdisciplinary direction in the field of social sciences - "The impact of suburbanization on demographic processes". The listeners were students of educational programs "History" and "International Relations", masters, doctoral students, as well as teachers of the university.
- This event became possible due to the long-standing scientific ties between our universities and scholars, which became institutionalized after the signing of the inter-university cooperation agreement in October 2022. Thank you to the leadership of our universities for their support in organizing the event. We are sure that our cooperation will bring a lot of benefits to students, masters and doctoral students of the university, - says Eleonora Stolyarova, an employee of SIC "Altaytanu".
According to the organizers of the lecture meetings, the guest speaker's speeches aroused keen interest and many questions due to the relevance of the topics raised. It should be noted that Konstantin Grigorichev became a scientific adviser of Didar Seitzhanov, a doctoral student of the educational program "History".
