Every first Sunday of July in Kazakhstan is celebrated Dombra Day.

The dombra is the most widespread two-stringed musical instrument of the Kazakh people, which has its own musical specificity. This instrument, originally used within the epic tradition to accompany poems, epics, terme, later contributed to the formation of the instrumental genre - "k'uy".

For the holiday, the B. Mamrayev Scientific Library organized a literary exhibition, which collected a lot of information about the history of the Kazakh people and folk art.
