Then, for the first time in 20 years, the university administration engaged in a global renovation of academic buildings and dormitories. - The heating system and shower rooms in the Student Houses have been repaired with the replacement of cast-iron radiators with aluminum ones. Also in the basement of Student House No. 3 a fitness center was opened and the roof was repaired. The buildings and dormitories are provided with ramps. In Student Houses #4 and #5 the facade was painted, new windows and eaves were installed. The entrance group on the first floor was replaced. In addition, in all dormitories toilets and stairwells were repaired. This is only a small part of the work done and planned," Mukhtar Tolegen, rector of the university, shared the news in 2022. Recall, last year the global renewal affected other facilities operating at the university. Thus, in the swimming pool "Seagull" was made restoration of the facade, namely the replacement of tiles, concreting the foundation of the front and side of the building. Repairs were made in the coaching room, lobby, locker rooms, laundry and showers. The training and research production base of "Sibina" was not left without due attention. Then 10 houses, a warehouse and a bathhouse were prepared for the next summer season. To date, extensive restoration work on the territory of the university has not ended. According to the information provided by the staff of the Economic Department, repairs have been completed in auditorium No. 117 of study building No. 1, ceramic slabs have been installed in the laboratory of study building No. 8 and risolin on the roofs of study building No. 9 and dormitory No. 3. - In addition, we are actively working on the improvement of building No. 4. We have already renewed the facade and restored the roofs of the roofs after the damage caused by strong winds. The garage and our greenhouse in building No. 8 are ready for use.
