It was held among students of three universities of the regions of East Kazakhstan and Abai. It should be noted that the Olympiad was organized in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding statesman of Kazakhstan, Prosecutor General of the Kazakh SSR 1966-1984, State Adviser of Justice of the 1st class Otegen Seitov.

Students studying in the specialty "Jurisprudence" of the Sarsen Amanzholov EKU also took part in it.

Rector of the Sarsen Amanzholov EKU Mukhtar Tolegen and Deputy Prosecutor of the East Kazakhstan region Yerlan Andabayev addressed the participants of the Olympiad with words of farewell.

– On this day, all the students showed their knowledge very well. It is gratifying that students with basic theoretical knowledge study at universities where there are educational programs in law. Most importantly, I want to wish the guys success in their studies," said Yerlan Andabayev, Deputy Prosecutor of the East Kazakhstan region.

The Olympiad itself was held in three stages. In the first stage, the guys showed the participants and members of the jury a presentation about their university and Otegen Seitov. In the second stage, students demonstrated knowledge of legal terms, and in the third – solved situational tasks for the implementation of prosecutorial supervision, investigative measures and prosecutorial supervision in the field of criminal procedure, civil procedure legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

– Our university has been cooperating with the Prosecutor's Office of the East Kazakhstan region for almost 30 years. The memorandum was signed in 1994. To date, most of the graduates of Amanzholov University work in law enforcement agencies, including the prosecutor's office, – says the rector of the university Mukhtar Tolegen. – On this day, I want to wish future lawyers to become professionals and always strive to get high-quality knowledge.

The knowledge of future guards was evaluated by experienced juries, employees of the Prosecutor's Office of East Kazakhstan region. During the execution of each of the tasks, the participants of the Olympiad worked as a well-coordinated team, helping each other. The guys noted that participation in such competitions allows you to gain the experience necessary to realize yourself in your future profession.

– Such Olympiads are necessary for students, as we draw the necessary experience for our future. I hope that in the future these events will be held more often," said Polina Samoilova, a third–year student majoring in Law.

According to the results of the competition, the first place was awarded to the team of the Sarsen Amanzholov EKU, the second place was awarded to the students of Alikhan Bokeikhan University, and the third place was taken by the team from the Kazakh-American Free University.
