A resounding victory was won by a second-year student in the specialty "Physical culture and sports" Magzhan Sherizatov at the Asian Championship-2023 in kettlebell lifting. This year the competitions were held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

400 athletes from eight countries competed for the title of Champion. 13 young people, including our athlete, competed in the 63 kg weight category. He lifted a kettlebell weighing 24 kg 162 times.

Magzhan himself says that the victory was not easy, as the rivals put up tremendous resistance. But the support of coaches Timur Mushekenov, Serik Mukhamedzhanov and Adilya Abdigalieva helped to show strength in a difficult sport and win the main prize - first place.

In the future, the athlete plans to work for the country to the end and become a champion between adults at the World Championship.
