Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University has bilateral agreements on scientific cooperation, exchange of students and faculty with highly rated universities in Poland. Among them are John Paul II Catholic University, Katowice School of Economics, Linguistic-Technical University, Pomeranian Academy, Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management and Gdansk University.
Active cooperation has been realized since 2012. During the fruitful 11 years of mutual partnership the parties have realized important projects.
Thus, the Polish-Kazakh Center at the University of Applied Sciences named after J. Comenius and the Center of Kazakh Studies at the University of Applied Sciences named after J. Comenius were established in Poland. Comenius University of Applied Sciences and the center of Kazakh culture "Kazak Eli". On the basis of the Linguistic-Technical University EKU opened a youth cultural and educational center "Abai".
- Today the center carries out a great work on attraction of the European youth to studying of the Kazakh language and our culture. For example, foreigners familiarize themselves with the works of Abai Kunanbayev. Our center has become a platform for international cooperation for other universities in Kazakhstan," said specialists from the department of strategy, international cooperation and accreditation at EKU.
In 2021, Amanzholov University signed an Erasmus Charter with Adam Mickiewicz University. Under the Erasmus+ program, professors and lecturers of the alma mater delivered lectures for Polish undergraduates and engaged in scientific research.
In the course of scientific and technical cooperation between Polish universities and EKU, a large base of students, faculty and staff formed and gained an unforgettable experience. Participants of the Academic Mobility program have the opportunity to use the unique knowledge gained for the benefit of the country.
