The international cooperation
Within the framework of international cooperation under the bachelor's program, the share of foreign students is 3.8%. foreign students are represented by young people from Mongolia and China.
In the 2019-2020 academic year, communication with an invitation within the framework of the Erasmus + Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments (STA) program Department of Biology, Kitapbaeva Almash Anashbaevna in the period from October 4 to October 13, 2019, visited the University named after Adam Mitskevich (Poznan, Poland). From February 17, 2020 - February 21, 2020, within the framework of academic mobility, Head of the Department of Biology, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor A.A. Kitapbaeva went to lecture at the Zhetysu State University named after I. Zhansugurov. Senior Lecturer of the Department of Computer Modeling and Information Technologies Beldeubaeva Zh.T 20.10-27.10.2019 traveled to Helsinki (Finland) to participate in the International project "Integrated Approach to STEM Teacher Training"
In the 2019-2020 academic year, 5 students of the 2nd course 5B011600- "Geography", 2 students of the 3rd course of the specialty 5B011000 - "Physics" and 3 students of the 3rd course of the specialty 5B011300 - "Biology" were trained at the State University named after Shakarim in Semey. In the 2019-2020 academic year, 1 student of the 4th year 5В012000- "Professional training" was trained at S. Toraigyrov PSU in Pavlodar.
In the 2019-2020 academic year from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technologies, within the framework of external academic mobility, 3rd and 4th year students of specialty 5В060200- "Informatics" Asylbekova Moldir Sailaubekkyzy and Rakhymbek Madiyar Kairatuly studied for academic mobility in Cyberdzhia (Malaysia) at the University "Limkokwing University of Creative ". Master student in the specialty 6M060700-Biology Tustubaeva Shynar within the framework of the Erasmus + Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments (STA) program studied in academic mobility at the Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznan, Poland).
In the 2019-2020 academic year, within the framework of internal academic mobility, 2 students of the 3rd year of the specialty 5B011600- "Geography", 5B011300- "Biology" and 3 students of the 3rd year of the specialty 5B011200- "Chemistry" arrived from the State University named after Shakarim (Semey) to study at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technologies at S. Amanzholov EKSU.
To increase the external academic mobility of students, undergraduates and teaching staff, a purposeful study of the English language is required. 70% of undergraduates have completed foreign internships at Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk, Russia).
In accordance with the working curricula and academic calendars of specialties for the corresponding academic period, the faculty organizes educational, familiarization and production practices. The purpose of the practice is to consolidate theoretical knowledge, acquire practical skills and competencies, master advanced experience, and collect factual material on the professional activities of the relevant practice base, practical material on the topic of the thesis.
In order to strengthen the relationship with employers, branches of departments have been created on the basis of TechnoAnalit LLP, Vostokmashzavod JSC. Implementation of dual education in the specialty Informatics with the SDiPO "Resource Center" of the Akimat of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, specializing in Vocational training with the colleges of the city.
The bases of industrial practice are educational organizations and production centers. Students undergo practical training in organizations with which contracts have been concluded: KSU "Secondary School No. 3" Akimat of Ust-Kamenogorsk, KSU Secondary School with. An important indicator of the work of the faculty is the demand for graduates and their employment in prestigious organizations. The share of employed graduates in the first year after graduation is about 94,4%.
