Department of international cooperation and attracting foreign students

East Kazakhstan Amanzholov University since this academic year is an active partner of scientific and educational international project «Digital Humanities in the Republic of Kazakhstan: Local Solutions for Global Problems (2020-2023) » in the frame of Jean Monnet Erasmus + program of the executive agency for education, culture and audiovisual means of the European Union. The coordinator and main beneficiary of the project is the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University www.kaznu.kz. In addition to domestic scientists and teachers, professors from France and Estonia are actively involved in the project. Within this project, it is planned to give lectures on social and humanitarian issues in the digital space. The project aims to reveal topical issues of Digital Humanities, philosophical and cultural aspects of digital humanities, a new vision of the development of the humanities in a new era. The potential of digital technologies is enormous; it carries both promising scientific directions and negative consequences for the socio-cultural life of society. The study of new knowledge will expand the promising areas of digital methods in the humanities.
